SOUTH AFRICA SAFARI GENERAL INFORMATION
Included In The Tour Price:
Itinerary and activities as specified, fully equipped Land
Rover Defender safari vehicle. Camping and catering equipment, services
of tour guides, all accommodation, all camp meals as specified and
National Park entrance fees.
Accommodation Prior To The Safari:
You can be accommodated at The Outback Africa Safari
Lodge in Cape Town.
Accommodation On Completion Of The Safari:
Your safari ends in Cape Town in the afternoon of day
24. Should you wish to extend your stay, please pre-book your
accommodation at The Outback Africa
Safari Lodge for this evening. For those clients who
end their safari in Johannesburg we will gladly arrange additional
accommodation for you in our designated Guest Lodge. Airport
Transfers upon request.

Travelling Documents:
You require a passport, which must be valid for 6 months
post departure from Africa.
Please enquire at your embassy or consulate if you require a visa
for the countries on our route. The visa expenses are for your
account.
Spending Money:
Foreign exchange into the local currency is possible
in most large cities en route.
International credit cards and travellers cheques are widely accepted
in South Africa.
Please do not change your foreign currency upon arrival
at the airports in CT or JNB. We facilitate
foreign exchange at a local bank to save you time waiting in long
queues after your flight.
The airport transfers are done by our company,
and paid locally.
Luggage:
Maximum baggage allowance: 12 kg. The luggage weight
limitation does not include photographic equipment and a small
daypack. Please bring a backpack or soft barrel bag, not a suitcase.
Don't bring too much clothing, as there are washing opportunities
along the way.
Health:
Malaria prophylaxes are required for this trip. There
are currently no compulsory vaccinations for any of the countries
visited. Recommended vaccinations for this safari: Tetanus, Hepatitis
A and Typhoid.
Safari Braai and Briefing.
Outback Africa Safaris hosts a safari evening to welcome
the clients and explain the Outback safari concept.
