GARDEN ROUTE AND KAROO SAFARIS INFORMATION SHEET
Included In The Karoo Safari Price:
Itinerary and activities as specified, fully equipped Land Rover
Defender safari vehicle, camping and catering equipment, services
of tour guides, all accommodation, all camp meals as specified and
National Park entrance fees.
Accommodation Prior To The Karoo Safari:
You can be accommodated at The Outback Africa Safari Lodge in
Cape Town.
Accommodation On Completion Of The Safari:
Your safari ends in Cape Town in the afternoon of day 8. Should
you wish to extend your stay, please pre-book your accommodation
at The Outback Africa
Safari Lodge for this evening. Airport Transfers
upon request.

Spending Money:
Foreign exchange into the local currency is possible in most large
cities en route.
International credit cards and travellers cheques are widely accepted
in South Africa.
Please do not change your foreign currency
upon arrival at the airports in CT. We facilitate
foreign exchange at a local bank. This saves
you time waiting in long queues after your flight. The
airport transfers are done by our company, and paid locally.
Luggage on the Safari:
Maximum baggage allowance: 12 kg. The luggage weight limitation
does not include photographic equipment and a small daypack. Please
bring a backpack or soft barrel bag, not a suitcase. Don't bring
too much clothing, as there are washing opportunities along the
way.
Health:
Malaria prophylaxes are not required for this trip. There are
currently no compulsory vaccinations for South Africa.
Safari Braai and Briefing:
Outback Africa Safaris hosts a safari evening to welcome the clients
and explain the Outback concept.

We will meet at 07H 30 on the morning of the 1st day of the program
