CAPE KALAHARI SAFARI INFORMATION SHEET

Included In The Cape Kalahari Safari Tour Price:
Itinerary and activities as specified, fully equipped Land Rover Defender safari vehicle, all camping and catering equipment, services of tour guides, all accommodation, all camp meals as specified, Botswana Guides in the Botswana National Parks and National Park entrance fees.

Accommodation Prior To The Safari:
We can recommend our lodge, The Outback Africa Safari Lodge for prior accommodation. Airport transfers can be arranged.

Accommodation on Completion Of The Safari:
The safari ends in the late afternoon of day 21 in Johannesburg, South Africa. We recommend flying out of Johannesburg International Airport the following day, to returning to your country of origin. Additional accommodation at our designated lodge will be booked on request. Airport transfers are available.

Travelling Documents:
You require a passport, which must be valid 6 months after your departure from Africa. Travellers of most nationalities will have to pay entry visas for Zimbabwe and Zambia (obtainable at the borders). Please enquire at your embassy or consulate.

Spending Money for the Kalahari Safari:
For your personal expenses we recommend to bring US-Dollars or your local currency in cash or travellers cheques. International credit cards are also widely accepted.
Please do not change your foreign currency upon arrival at the airports in CT or JNB.
We facilitate foreign exchange at a local bank to save you time waiting in long queues after your flight.
The airport transfers are done by our company, and paid locally.

Luggage on Tour:
Maximum baggage allowance: 12 kg per client. Outback Africa Safaris stipulates this luggage allowance, as an overloaded vehicle is a danger to both the clients and the guide.
The baggage limitation does not include photographic equipment and a small daypack.
Please bring a backpack or soft barrel bag, not a suitcase.

Health:
Malaria prophylaxes are required for this trip. There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required for any of the countries visited. Recommended vaccinations: Tetanus, Hepatitis A, and Typhoid.

Safari Braai and Briefing:
Outback Africa Safaris hosts a safari evening to welcome the clients and explain the Outback concept.
