THE OUTBACK AFRICA SAFARI POLICY

We conduct participation camping and fixed accommodation safaris into remote areas of Southern Africa.
Our maximum group size is 7 participants.

All safari departures are fully guaranteed with four participants.
We shy away from mass tourism and strive to create a sense of team spirit and promote group interaction.
Our programmes have no hidden optional extras, or food kitties. Groups are given the chance to bond and not to segregate those who cannot afford the options.
Outback Africa has no age limit policy, as the right attitude, an open mind and flexibility to African conditions are far more important to appreciate the safaris offered.

Outback endeavours to make the least possible environmental impact in the areas through which we safari.
Outback Africa Safaris will not compromise on safety and mobility. The company refrains from utilizing heavy cargo trucks or minibus taxis, Outback Africa Safaris has invested in a fleet of 4x4 Land Rover Defenders to conduct our safaris in. The Land Rover is not an air-conditioned tour bus; it is designed for African safari conditions.

Outback Africa Safari leaders are highly respected in the guiding fraternity in Southern Africa.
The guides are highly experienced, professional and multi-lingual, chosen for their interpersonal skills and their ability to communicate and educate clients interested in the ways of the African world. They are registered with the guiding authorities and have the relevant qualifications and experience to create life-changing experiences whilst on our safaris.

In remote regions in the National Parks of Botswana, the Okavango Delta and Kalahari or South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, we utilize the skills of local guides, giving our clients an insight into the true African culture. The guides create an environmental awareness on our safaris, knowing that Africa, as we know it, is fast disappearing.
